Matthias Zuehlke is a board member of GET AHEAD AG and has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s sales and marketing practice since 2003. He successfully executes searches for middle and upper managers through direct search and by utilizing his extensive network of industry contacts with a focus on consumer goods, retail, pharmaceuticals and the chemical industry. Furthermore, Matthias is responsible for the firm’s employer branding and marketing and has been a partner in the business since 2006 with a strong focus on expanding the firm’s reach beyond Northern Germany.
Following an apprenticeship in banking and a degree in business administration, Matthias joined the human resources department of a major bank before devoting himself to a career in executive search. In his previous role, Matthias was a consultant and project manager on search mandates for medium-sized businesses as well as multinational companies.
A father of three, Matthias is an avid skier and greatly enjoys traveling to Italy and overseas.
Robert Frisinger

Leading the company’s finance practice, Robert Frisinger has been a senior consultant with GET AHEAD AG since 2009. He successfully utilizes direct search methodologies to place middle and upper management candidates in roles ranging from taxation and risk management to corporate development, audit, treasury, controlling and accounting. In addition to his functional focus, Robert has successfully acquired industry-specific expertise in renewable energies and consumer goods while also leading the ongoing expansion of the professional services practice to include management consulting, audit firms and venture capital.
Robert holds a Master’s in International Business from the University of Maastricht where he focused on organizational strategy, change and finance. Before joining GET AHEAD, Robert worked as an executive search consultant for an international search firm where he was responsible for placing middle and upper managers in finance and accounting roles with clients across all industries.
Married and an avid sportsman with an active interest in soccer and hockey, Robert is also a keen follower of technological developments.
Erik Bühne

Erik Bühne is a consultant with GET AHEAD AG with a focus on purchasing, logistics, and supply chain management. Erik successfully places specialists as well as middle and upper managersby utilizing direct search as well as ad-based recruitment and sourcing within his extensive network. Erik focuses primarily on FMCG, medical devices, mechanical engineering, and general logistics.
Following an apprenticeship and subsequent employment in the hospitality industry, Erik obtained a degree in international business administration with a focus on marketing, planning and organization before joining an international recruitment firm where he was partly responsible for building out the firm’s Hamburg office. In that role, Erik’s focus was primarily on recruiting middle and upper managers for purchasing, logistics, supply chain management and engineering functions.
Erik enjoys watching and playing ice hockey and basketball as well as attending other sporting events.
